We love to support fellow small businesses and local artists, which is why we were beyond excited to partner with Jen from Juno Pottery for an exclusive shop in shop concept that combines her gorgeous ceramics with our love of curating thoughtfully-made products.
In case you haven’t had a chance to meet Jen, here’s a little background on her. We know you’re going to love her work as much as we do!
Ceramics entered Jen’s life when she was searching for a way to regain her creativity. When the last of her kids entered school, she took a couple of ceramics classes and quickly found that having her hands in clay was something she wanted to do as much as possible. Soon after, Juno Pottery was born!
The mystic and poet Thomas Merton wrote that "art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time." This concept comes across in her designs, which reflect both simplicity and elegance.
Just as we like to elevate everyday items and celebrate experiences, Jen works towards creating functional pottery that is both artful and sculptural. She is inspired by the natural world in her choices of clay bodies and understated glazes, and gravitates towards feminine, curvy silhouettes. She feels inspired while traveling and finding ceramics in places far from home.
